Applications are currently being accepted for entry into Cuba's internationally renowned film school, La Escuela de Cine, The International Film and TV School (EICTV) in San Antonio de los BaƱos, Cuba. Applicants should be 22 to 29 years old, from LATIN AMERICA and the CARIBBEAN, AFRICA, ASIA, OCEANIA and EUROPE in order to participate in the 2013-2016 Regular Course. EICTV is a non-governmental organization based in Cuba inaugurated on December 15, 1986, by Nobel Prize writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez (Colombia) and filmmakers Fernando Birri (Argentina) and Julio Garcia Espinosa (Cuba). The school offers three-year degree programs in filmmaking.
